Virginia Mobile Air Conditioning Systems was Incorporated in the state of Virginia in 2001. Building on 8 years of experience working with Heavy Equipment our primary focus was to serve the Heavy Duty Off Road Vehicle Market and Heavy Duty On Highway Truck Market as a premier mobile repair service specializing in HVAC systems. We are a Veteran Owned Small Business. Located in Virginia Beach, Virginia we provide service to southeast Virginia. Since the beginning we have set ourselves apart from the competition by working on all makes of machinery and focusing on core fundamentals of "Premium Products & Premium Service". The challenge is to apply the "Premium Approach" while always placing the best interest of the customers wallet and the wellbeing of the customers machinery at the forefront of decision making. Through 2001 & 2002 we grew a substantial customer base that included companies of all sizes and specialties. In 2002 we moved to our current location in Chesapeake. The move positioned us in a more geographically centralized location from which to operate our mobile repair business. We aligned ourselves as a distributor for JBAR A/C, Inc. of Valley View, Ohio. Our alliance with JBAR A/C has proven to be a fruitful relationship. Through our partnership we gained access to premium quality HVAC systems and all makes components & were given the opportunity to pursue OEM Engineering & Manufacturing sales on their behalf. In 2003 we landed our first custom design deal with Volvo Construction Equipment and designed an A/C system for one of their compact wheel loaders that was originally designed to have no provisions for cab air conditioning. That system is packaged as a kit and shipped to Europe where it is installed on the assembly line at the Volvo Manufacturing Facility. In 2004 we were called to duty to perform urgent repair work on an experimental mine sweeping vehicle that was headed for Iraq to help combat the threat our soldiers faced from roadside bombs. You have likely seen the "Buffalo" on the TV news discussing how it is resistant to bomb blasts and has saved many lives because of its unique design. In 2005 as diesel fuel prices begin to regularly breech $3.00 per gallon, we searched for companies that have products that can help us save our customers money with innovative technologies that provide cab comfort and reduce engine idle times. We find and industry leader in Webasto Product N.A. and complete the process of becoming an authorized distributor for their Thermosystem products. Webasto heaters prove to be highly reliable and extremely efficient while providing tremendous heat for engine preheating, supplemental and primary operator compartment heat. The ultra low emissions from the Webasto heaters prove to be beneficial as the global warming debate gains full steam and companies search in earnest for products that can help them meet new emissions reductions targets. In 2006 we expanded our product offerings again by adding Pro Tech truck accessories to our product mix. Our crane customers have found Pro Tech storage boxes to be excellent for storing rigging materials and our trucking customers have found their extensive product offering adds functionality and styling to their trucks. 2007 & 2008 proved to be a difficult business environment, but today we are one of JBAR A/C's top distributors and overall business is strong. As we look back it has been a long road and at times it has been tough. We continue to believe today that our company can make a difference. We are active in our community by donating time and money to our local youth sports organizations and citywide charities. We choose to see the goodness of people and know the future holds great things for those who are willing to work for it. |
