We're sorry you are having difficulty with the exhaust elbow. 28472C is only available in one size which fits Air Top 2000 model heaters as specified in the listing. Sounds like you might have an EVO40 heater which has larger diameter exhaust port. Unfortunately there is not a similar elbow for EVO40 models. Your order is within 30 days of purchase and as long as the part is still in new condition you are welcome to return it for a refund. Simply follow the instructions on the packing slip that came with the part or contact us directly.
